Vavrinec (Hungarian: Lőrincvágása, until 1899: Vavrinecz; Rusyn: Ваврінець) is a village and municipality in Vranov nad Topľou District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia.
History
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1363.
Geography
The municipality lies at an altitude of 281 metres (922 ft)[3] and covers an area of 5.44 km2 (2.10 sq mi) (2024).[4]
