A tag has been placed on Kaduna Capital School, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Final warning

As should be evident from the above, you have been creating too many inappropriate articles. The creation of inappropriate articles is disruptive and wasteful of other editors' time. Before you attempt to create another article, please read our policies on neutrality, notability, and reliability of sources. Also, please consider using the draft and articles for creation process while you are still inexperienced. Should you once more create an inappropriate article, you are likely to be blocked from editing. Seraphimblade Talk to me 12:13, 7 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The article that I created is a renowned old government school in Kaduna founded by Sir Ahmadu Bello in 1957, I think you should check and see its notability whether it should stay in Wikipedia or not. Theshehv (talk) 12:20, 7 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
That may or may not be, but you still would not be able to write about it in a promotional tone. It does, now that I look at it, appear that you used a chatbot to write at least parts of it. Chatbots do not write appropriate material for articles; please ensure that you do not use them for that. Seraphimblade Talk to me 12:46, 7 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

(Non-administrator comment) Hi @Theshehv:, this appeal looks a lot like it was written by AI - you've been blocked so it's important that you write your own appeal, not the AI.
Another issue with using AI is that it's not addressed any of the concerns raised. Please read WP:Guide to appealing blocks to see how you should write an appeal that's likely to be accepted.
You need to explain what you did that led to your block, show that you understand why it was a problem, and prove that you understand how to avoid doing the same thing again in future. Without that, your appeal is probably going to be declined.
If you are using AI to write your articles for you, the programming tends to write in a promotional and unencyclopaedic way - that's not appropriate for Wikipedia. You either need to write the articles yourself or learn how to identify and remove/correct promotional language before you consider creating any more articles (or even editing in general).
Also, can you confirm your relationship to the subject(s) of your articles? I note this question has been asked by other editors, so it'd be helpful for you to go over it here. Blue Sonnet (talk) 17:42, 7 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello Wikipedian Community, I wrote some articles about some prominent places in Kaduna which are as follows: Stone Tech Square, Kaduna Capital School and KAD ICT Hub, which lead to my suspension, I really acknowledged that I made them look too much in an advertorial way which I will make sure to improve that from here forward. So I am appealing to the community to kindly unblock so I can continue contributing my quota to this community because I love making improvements and contributions to a community like this. Thank you.

Decline reason:

Upon further investigation, I have determined that you are being dishonest here and that you do have a connection Stone Tech Square. This is based on information sent to the VRT that I am not allowed to specifically disclose(other VRT volunteers, check the edit history for the ticket number). Theshehv, there is no pathway forward until you are honest about your connection to at least two subjects you have edited about. 331dot (talk) 09:54, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

There's no "quota" here. Many, many users are successful editors without creating a single article. That's not the only, or even best, way to contribute. What is your connection to the subjects of your edits? 331dot (talk) 09:29, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

No connection, also I want to make note, if you check my account history, you will see that I made some edits and contributed on some articles. I just happened to stumble upon these places and feel like they supposed to have a wikipedia page because they are recognized entities in the state. Request reason:

Hello, In response to the connection you want me to disclose, I was a student at Kaduna Capital School around 2011. I am also a staff at Stone Tech Square. I'm sorry for not disclosing the staff issue, because it was not public at this moment. Thank you.

Decline reason:

Sorry, "sorry" is not good enough. You've created multiple articles in which you have a clear conflict of interest, some of them multiple times, despite several warnings. This has taken up a lot of community time to clean up and discuss at AfD, as well as much administrator time to delete, block, review your unblock requests, not to mention finally tease out of you the admission that you do, in fact, have undisclosed COI/PAID issues. The block was certainly warranted, and I see no benefit to the project in unblocking you. I'm declining your appeal. DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:18, 11 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Someone else will review your request, but I can say that your connection is stronger than just a staff member, even if you are one as well- though perhaps that's enough to tell us. The reviewing admin will want to know why you attempted to mislead us here by saying "no connection". Being a student at the school is not necessarily an issue that prevents you from editing about it, though you will need to resolve your promotional tone issues. 331dot (talk) 10:10, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The reason for me saying no connection is because I am yet to be confirmed as a full staff, and also for the promotional tone, I will work on that. Theshehv (talk) 10:18, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment) @Theshehv So to clarify, you said that you weren't connected to the subject of your edits because it wasn't "official yet"? But you nevertheless still had a financial/professional interest in them at the time you wrote that?
331dot also has concerns that you've got a stronger connection than just being a member of staff, are you able to provide any clarification on that?
These are more in-depth questions than I'd usually ask, but we're starting off in a position of eroded trust so it'll take more effort for you to make your way out of that position, I'm afraid. Blue Sonnet (talk) 19:17, 20 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
True, I only had professional interest but not financial interest at the time I wrote the article.
In response to 331dot, the position that I am given is cofounding the company, and yet to be finalised.
Thank you. Theshehv (talk) 23:48, 5 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Someone else will review your request, but your hair splitting and dishonesty here leads me to oppose unblocking you; but it won't be up to me. 331dot (talk) 01:48, 6 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
