Ulukhaktok
I just noticed that on Wikidata you used ᑭᙵᐃᑦ for Ulukhaktok. However, that's the syllabics's for Kinngait. In fact there is no traditional history of Inuktitut syllabics for any Inuit community west of Gjoa Haven. The Government of Nunavut uses syllabic writing for Cambridge Bay and Kugluktuk but the people do not. None of the communities of the Inuvialuit Settlement Region in the Northwest Territories use syllabics. Cheers. - Hello, I usually edit in the French Wikipedia/Wikidata so perhaps there are differences among editing styles and preferences. I think it may be more common in French to link infoboxes to Wikidata. I thought that having infoboxes linked to Wikidata would ensure that information is always up to date & as complete as possible? For example, I just added a more precise statement in Wikidata indicating Caroline Monnet's birth place and it now reflects in the infobox. Spaghetti.linguini (talk) 14:05, 7 March 2025 (UTC)
