Question from Boeing747Pilot (14:49, 20 February 2025)
Hello! I have a fact for Pocono raceway about their slogan “What 4th turn?” I know it’s a real slogan but i can’t seem to find a reliable source about it. Can I still add it or not. --Flying home from the Super Bowl. WHY CHIEFS, WHY DID YOU LOSE SO BAD (Boeing747Pilot) Boeing747Pilot (talk) 14:49, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Boeing747Pilot: Well, no. Since Wikipedia is written by volunteers and has no fact-checkers or editors checking its articles for accuracy, the readers need to be able to verify the facts in the article by reading references cited as sources for those facts, which is the Verifiability policy. And this principle of verifiability is maintained through the use of reliable sources as sources. Keep looking for an independently published, third party source for the slogan before adding it to the article. Geoff | Who, me? 15:02, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
- Ok thanks I will keep looking for a source. Going for Kyle Larson in the NASCAR Cup Series. GO NUMBER 5!(Boeing747Pilot) Boeing747Pilot (talk) 15:10, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
- Is FanSided a reliable source for the fact? It says the truth about it but I don’t know. Here is what I’m looking at. https://fansided.com/2018/07/29/nascar-why-is-pocono-raceway-called-tricky-triangle/#:~:text=Pocono%2520Raceway%2520is%2520a%25202.5,4%253F%E2%80%9D%2520tag%2520line). - It’s paragraph 3 by the way. Going for Kyle Larson in the NASCAR Cup Series. GO NUMBER 5!(Boeing747Pilot) Boeing747Pilot (talk) 17:14, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Boeing747Pilot: I'm not familiar with FanSided and I can't tell whether it would count as a fansite or a curated, edited and fact-checked source. Following the BOLD, revert, discuss principal, you could add the fact, supply the FanSide link as a reference and be prepared to discuss it on the article Talk page if your edit is reverted. Hello now I'm trying to rap my head around this app so can you please give me the run down on this --Jayfmhl (talk) 04:13, 22 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Jayfmhl: Can you be a bit more specific? Are you asking about how the specific project (or any Wikipedia project) works/how to become involved, about the Wikipedia mobile app or something else? Geoff | Who, me? 13:21, 22 February 2025 (UTC)

Hey how do i add my artistry biography here --BiqCase B-i (talk) 23:32, 1 March 2025 (UTC)
@BiqCase B-i: Wikipedia is not really the place to write about yourself. Please read the article on autobiographies. Geoff | Who, me? 00:44, 2 March 2025 (UTC)

Invitation to participate in research
Hello,
The Wikimedia Foundation is conducting a survey of a group of Wikipedians to better understand their experiences! We are also looking to interview some survey respondents in more detail, and you will be eligible to receive a thank-you gift for the completion of an interview. The outcomes of this research will shape future work designed to improve on-wiki experiences.
We have identified you as a good candidate for this research, and would greatly appreciate your participation in this survey, which shouldn’t take more than 2-3 minutes. You may view its privacy statement here. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Kind regards, Sam Walton (talk) 16:34, 10 March 2025 (UTC)
