Which is his correct name Asit Bandopadhyay or Asit Banerjee? It's not clear from a google search. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 15:27, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Both names Asit Bandopadhyay or Asit Banerjee are correct

OK. Which would be the better one for the article. I assumed that Asit Bandopadhyay was correct because you created that first so I changed the Asit Banerjee to a redirect. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 15:32, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

THANK YOU VERY MUCH

A tag has been placed on INNER VOYAGE COMMUNICATION, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you feel that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. — Indon (reply) — 15:37, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Inner Voyage Communication

An editor has nominated Inner Voyage Communication, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Inner Voyage Communication and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 11:59, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Abir1975! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 11 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Asit Bandopadhyay - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Hi--while I've withdrawn for the moment the proposal to delete this article (I still need to look more under more alternate name spellings), I'm going to have to send this back for a deletion discussion if I can't find multiple, reliable secondary sources to confirm the existence of this dramatist. Any help you could provide in the next day or so would be appreciated. Best regards, --je deckertalk 20:34, 17 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, there is no copyright violation as the owner of the site has authorized the undersigned to create the page. Abir1975 (talk) 10:41, 18 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
At the bottom of the page - " © Copyright 2020 - Alam Khan by Smart Works Intl. All Rights Reserved." Again, see Wikipedia:Donating copyright materials, but the text is unsuitable for Wikipedia anyway as excessively promotional of the subject - text such as "Alam has had the privilege and honor", "Alam’s imaginative way" and "has been touching the hearts of audiences worldwide for many years" has no place in an encylopedia article. A tag has been placed on Alam Khan (musician), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Alam Khan (musician) moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Alam Khan (musician). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Bakhtar40 (talk) 11:04, 19 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If this was the first article that you created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

The page Draft:Alam Khan (musician) has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appeared to be a direct copy from http://www.alamkhan.com/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion review.
