Sturmgewehr88
Sometimes misspelled as Sturmgewher, this word translates as "storm rifle" or "assault rifle" from German. The number 88, often mistaken as code for "heil Hitler", represents the 88mm main gun on the Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger Ausf. E and the Panzerkampfwagen Königstiger Ausf. B. It is abbreviated as StG88 or Sturm. It is my prefered psuedonym, and any acompanying avatar usually depicts an assault rifle, tank, or the mitsudomoe. I've used this name since late 2010 (can't remember exact date). I chose it because as a teenager I was super interested in German history and WW2, and mixed my favorite gun in Call of Duty World at War (Sturmgewehr 44) with the number 88 (not only was it the caliber of the Tiger's main gun, but the model of the Panzer unit in Sid Meier's Civilization IV has "88" painted on the side of the turret). I was unaware of the negative connotation of 88 until 2013; I recognize that some people have misused the number 88 as a symbol of hate, however I believe that we shouldn't let their negative actions dictate how everyone else can use it. It's important to allow individuals to express themselves in a way that is meaningful to them while also denouncing the bad actions of others. Don't let bad people win.

Blocks
Most blocks have been because of the username "Sturmgewehr88". As exampled by my blocking and later unblocking on English Wikipedia, this was because people assumed something without actually asking me.
I was blocked for a week on Japanese Wikipedia for incivility.
There have been two incidents where the acceptability of my username was challenged and brought before the community for wider consensus; both resulted in the acceptance of this username.
My name in Japanese; katakana (foreign) last name and kanji (島外人) first name. Set in my two favorite colors: red and black. Gōdon (強斗武) roughly translates as "strong warrior". The link to my talk page is an abbreviation of "Sturmgewehr88" and Okinawan for "Sturmgewehr88's talk page".
On Wikipedia, I generally edit Ryukyuan articles, although I also edit many articles outside this field. I use Wikipedia as a primary source of information, and when I come across a mistake in any random article, I correct it. Because the number of pages on my watchlist are over 2,000, I also fight vandalism across a wide range of topics. I also frequently add welcome templates to new user and IP talk pages. Sometimes I try my hand at other things (like AN/I, AfD, new page patroling, etc.), and I also help with requests for comment. When editing articles, I generally have an immediate-inclusionist tendency.
A number of IPs inserting the claim that Mamoru Miyano "is a robot". The vandal also scolded another IP (in broken English) for reverting the vandalism. This vandal is of very low (5) priority.
A number of IPs that add a hyperlink to Mexico, insert factual errors, blank full or partial sections, and leave deceptive and innocent-sounding edit summaries to articles relating to Japanese people. This vandal is low (4) priority.
Numerous IPs (mostly from South Korea) that change any instance of "Sea of Japan" to "East Sea". Any article linking to or even mentioning the Sea of Japan is at risk. This vandal is mid (3) priority.
Originally an IP, this vandal now creates accounts. They focus on Dragon Ball-related articles, but also edit Resident Evil-related articles. This vandal is low (4) priority.
This is a select list of quotes that I've come across on Wikipedia. They in no way reflect the character of the user who said them; I merely find them ironic or humorous. I've provided diffs to ensure that I have not misquoted. They are in chronological order.
