I work at the University of Vienna and at Academies of Sciences in Austria and neighbouring countries.

For quick reference, I use Wikipedia from time to time, where I come across various errors and inaccuracies, which has ultimately led me to make corrections (typos, errors in content) and additions on a case-by-case basis. However, my time is very limited in this respect.

I call myself Sappho Selanna because I am fascinated by Sappho as a poet and because I work on the computer most nights (σελάννα = moon).

My favourite poem by her is:
