The Role of a Lifetime is an Australian television parenting series for ABC TV [1] which released on 18 February 2025.[2] Produced by Debbie Cuell, the series is a concept about parenting and comedy mixed into factual and scripted television. Hosted by Amanda Keller, the series follows parenting in an ever changing world for teens and discusses different topics.

Plot

In today's changing world parenting is the hardest and most important job, how do parents raise children in a world with ever changing technology, whirlwind emotions and challenges growing up. The series follows the most up-to-date parenting advice with actors as parents with the ever changing parenting information.[3]

On 18 July 2024, ABC announced the series with Screen Australia and Screen NSW providing funding for the series.[7]
