Thalgau is a market town in the district of Salzburg-Umgebung in the state of Salzburg in Austria.

Geography

Thalgau lies 18 kilometres (11 mi) east of the city of Salzburg. It is a central spot in the eastern Flachgau.

Economy

A Sony CD-manufacturing plant operates in Thalgau since 1987.[3] In 2016, Lechner Racing opened its new headquarters in Thalgau.[4] Red Bull operates a Red Bull Athlete Performance Center in Thalgau.[5]
