At the dissolution of the Parliament of the Canada on 23 March 2025, all members of Parliament (MPs) ceased to hold office. This clarificatory maintenance template is used on biographical articles of members or parties who are participating in the election so temporary changes regarding their MP status do not need to be made and then undone after the election.
