"Fake news"?

"In October 2023, Hinkle shared a fake news release stating that the United States was sending billions of dollars in aid to Israel." By what stretch of imagination and bad faith is that not true? Since when is the US not sending billions of dollars in aid to Israel? Can the truth be "fake news"? Lestrad (talk) 06:28, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Per the source, Hinkle shared what was claimed to be a White House news release. It was the news release that was fake. ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 07:49, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Truth can indeed be fake news. Everything labeled as "fake news" is by definition a truth - no exceptions. 5.43.122.141 (talk) 15:06, 28 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

July 2024 BBC story about another Russian fake news operation against Ukraine. One X user, the pro-Russia, pro-Donald Trump activist Jackson Hinkle, posted a link seen by more than 6.5m people. Should this be in article? BobFromBrockley (talk) 05:46, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

remove for relevance

" In November 2024, the ACP won its first partisan election when Chris Helali, the party's international secretary, was elected high bailiff of Orange County, Vermont."

how is this relevant to Jackson Hinkle's biography? this is just his party self-promoting with article vandalism. Leninscat (talk) 22:36, 18 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

minus Removed as the content, and the source, has nothing to do with the subject. CNC (talk) 23:58, 18 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Seckends (talk) 15:28, 20 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

He holds Libertarian views?

Jackson holds conservative views while at the same time criticizing republicans and democrats, he also opposes war and believes in secure immigration and supporting the 2nd Amendment. Those all fall in the category of Libertarian beliefs. Do these statements fit putting “Libertarian” under his political beliefs? 2600:1001:B040:7908:F82E:9185:D926:7D5F (talk) 22:29, 22 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Donald Trump panders to working class Americans. This aligns with communist beliefs. Does this justify putting "Communist" under Trump's political beliefs? Yue🌙 23:06, 22 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Expand References to Haz Al-Din on This Page

Hello everyone,

I wanted to open a discussion about expanding references to Haz Al-Din in this article, given his significant collaboration with Jackson Hinkle and their shared political work. Currently, while Hinkle's page references MAGA Communism, the American Communist Party (ACP), and his broader activism, it does not sufficiently acknowledge Haz Al-Din’s role in these movements.

Reasons for Inclusion:

  1. Multiple Reliable Sources Connect Haz Al-Din & Jackson Hinkle:
  2. Haz Al-Din’s Leadership in the ACP:
    • Hinkle and Haz Al-Din co-founded the American Communist Party (ACP) in July 2024. Given that Hinkle’s political identity is now strongly linked to the ACP, omitting Haz Al-Din from this section creates an incomplete picture.
  3. Haz Al-Din’s Influence on MAGA Communism:
    • Hinkle frequently credits Haz Al-Din with shaping MAGA Communism ideologically, particularly in philosophical critiques of liberalism and modern leftism.
    • Without mention of Haz Al-Din, this article risks misrepresenting the ideological formation of MAGA Communism.

Proposed Changes:

  • Adding Haz Al-Din’s name in relevant sections where MAGA Communism and the ACP are mentioned.

Disclosures & Good Faith Contributions:

I am currently drafting a Wikipedia page for Haz Al-Din, as he meets notability criteria through reliable coverage in major political outlets. I am not advocating for undue weight, but rather accuracy in covering major collaborations. Hinkle and Haz Al-Din are extensively covered together in sources, making this an omission rather than an issue of WP:UNDUE.

Would appreciate feedback from editors!

I don't think the categories peope of the russian invasion of ukraine and people of the israel-hamas war belong on this article, because that guy is not directly involved in either of these two wars,he's just expressing his political stance 2A01:5A8:302:2ED6:21C0:4F6F:B543:8756 (talk) 16:32, 20 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I don't agree, because readers looking for information about these two wars may be interested in finding information about Hinkle. However, I won't make any changes to your edit request, so other editors can also weigh in. Lova Falk (talk) 14:52, 7 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
