The introduction states that "With production facilities located in the neighbouring Schweizerhalle, Basel accounts for 20% of Swiss exports and generates one-third of the national product.[8]"
Basel does not generate 1/3 of the Swiss national product, according to the swiss national statistics office.
What is more interesting is the 20% of exports generated by Basle. This is confirmed, but does anyone know how much of this export/import volume is generated by the transit trade passing through the port? The way it is written is implying that 20% of Swiss exports are generated in Basle. (Sdnegel)18:57, 4 October 2020 (UTC+1)
