I modified the line 'Additionally, it was noted that racism against minorities has not disappeared in the modern day, with hostile immigration policies currently being implemented by the government.' Equating controls of immigration=racism is pushing a certain POV. Even with the well-published excesses (e.g. Windrush), it is presumptive to say that this was motivated by racism per se. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia not a soapbox to promote certain (contested) socio-political viewpoints.
