Sook Yee Lai is an Australian politician from the Labor Party who is member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly for the electoral district of Bibra Lake. She won her seat at the 2025 Western Australian state election.[1]
Biography
Sook Yee Lai grew up on Christmas Island and moved to Perth as a teenager.[2] She travels back frequently to visit friends and family.[3] She holds a double degree from Murdoch University in Asian Studies and Education.[4] She has had a career as a high school teacher before working in the mining industry.[5]
