Sara Zaafarani Zenzari (Arabic: سارة زعفراني زنزري; born 26 January 1963)[1] is a Tunisian engineer and politician who was minister of equipment and housing from 11 October 2021 to 21 March 2025[2] and the prime minister of Tunisia since 21 March 2025.
She is Tunisia's third prime minister in less than two years[3] and Tunisia's second female prime minister. She was appointed amid a severe financial crisis in the country.[2]
Zaafrani is fluent in four languages: Arabic, French, German, and English. She received a degree in civil engineering from the National Engineering School of Tunis and a master's degree in geotechnical engineering from the University of Hanover in Germany.[1]
