Lobocheilos bo is a species of freshwater ray-finned fish belonging to the family Cyprinidae, the family which includes the carps, barbs, minnows and related fishes.[3] This species is endemic to Borneo where it is found in the basins of the Mahakam, Kayan, and Sesayap Rivers in the eastern part of the island.[1] This species has a maximum published standard length of 32.5 cm (12.8 in).[2]
