Summary
Washington Distinguished Service Medal
Prerequisites: This decoration shall be awarded to anyone who distinguishes himself/herself by exceptionally meritorious service to the State of Washington in a duty of great responsibility. The performance must be such as to merit recognition for service that is clearly exceptional and of a conspicuously higher degree than appropriate for award of the WSLM.
Specifications and Devices. The medal is bronze and suspended from a green ribbon with one gold stripe at each end. Oak leaf clusters are used to denote subsequent awards.
