English: The Mystery of Masonry Brought to Light by the Gormagons is a satirical print first published in December 1724 and later reissued. The artwork, attributed to William Hogarth, was published by Robert Sayer. The illustration mocks Freemasonry by depicting an exaggerated procession involving figures such as the Emperor of China, Confucius, and two mandarins, alongside Masonic members engaged in absurd and humiliating rituals.
