Description
English: Enkwanzi, a traditional panpipe from the Busoga culture of Eastern Uganda. Made from bamboo and fiber, it features pipes of varying lengths (49.5 cm to 22.9 cm) arranged in a 33 cm width. Classified as an aerophone, it produces sound by blowing air across the pipe ends. It is part of The Crosby Brown Collection of Musical Instruments, acquired in 1889 by the Met Museum.
