Edge Hill United FC is an Australian football club based in the Cairns, Queensland that plays in the fifth-tier Far North Queensland Premier League.

Edge Hill United FC was founded in 1967.[1]
Cairns’ only inner-city football club that caters to all ages and abilities. Edge Hill United Football Club strives to offer a family-friendly and fun environment that encourages healthy living, participation, skill development and socialisation. The club celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2017 and since its establishment has generated the likes of Frank Farina, Shane Steffanutto and Michael Thwaite. The club has a strong focus on player development and is committed to providing equal resources and opportunities to every club member. Edge Hill united is the largest club in the region with over 500 registered players.
In 2019 and 2020, both their men's and women's sides have been dominant teams in the community divisions of Far North Queensland winning back-to-back trebles.[2][3]
In 2021, they qualified for the FFA Cup as a fifth tier side, after defeating second tier NPL Queensland side Magpies Crusaders United in the final round of qualifying by a score of 3–1, becoming the only community club to advance to the Final Rounds of the 2021 FFA Cup.[4] They were defeated 2–0 in the Round of 32 by second-tier NPL Queensland side Gold Coast Knights after allowing two late goals.[5]
In 2023, Edge Hill sacked head coach Chris O'Hare despite his team winning league games, and lifting the League and Crad Evans Shield titles. Edge Hill United in 2024 went on to become state champions runner up to St Geroge Willawong FC in 2024 without O'Hare under the guidance of player coach Ryan Murray. Finishing runner up auto qualified Edge Hill for the 2025 Champions League. Edge Hill United's Premier women's team went on to secure the treble once again in 2024 under 20 year club coach Dean Ashton making them the benchmark ladies team in the region.
