Dupahiya ( Two-wheeler) is an Indian Hindi-language comedy streaming television series created by Avinash Dwivedi, Chirag Garg, Salona Bains Joshi, and Shubh Shivdasani. It stars an ensemble cast led by Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane, Sparsh Shrivastava, Shivani Raghuvanshi, and Bhuvan Arora.[1] Set in a peaceful village, the series focusses on the chaos that unfolds when a motorbike mysteriously disappears.[2]

Premise
A peaceful village, celebrating 25 years without crime, is thrown into chaos when a prized motorbike mysteriously disappears. With the jubilee trophy, an upcoming wedding, and the town’s reputation at stake, the villagers embark on a frantic search to recover the stolen bike before it’s too late.

Welcome to Dhadakpur, a one-of-a-kind Crime-Free village. Jha family is eager for their daughter, Roshni, to get married. Her choice of groom demands a never-seen- before bike as dowry. In spite of all odds, the Jha family is determined. The bike arrives amisdst celebration in the day but disaster strikes at night! The bike is stolen! Only 8 days left for the wedding!
S1 E2 - "Chor Nahi Chikaar"
Banwari discovers the bike has been stolen! Bhugol and Teepu cook up a story casting suspicion on Amavas. The Sarpanch reaches Dhadakpur with good news. Banwari and Roshni question the prime suspect. Sparks fly between the two ex-lovers as they reminisce about their past. Roshni and Banwari return with no leads. Only 7 days left for wedding!
S1 E3 - "Oh Mere Jija Ji"
Amavas decides to fulfill his duty of being a good ex-lover. Kuber arrives in Dhadakpur to check out his beloved bike. Banwari enlists Pandit and Bhugol's help to ensure Kuber is left in a tizzy. Madan discovers Jha family's secret. Banwari decides to do the unthinkable. Only 6 days left for the wedding!
S1 E4 - "Kanoon Ke Haath"
ASI Mithlesh suspects something is amiss in Dhadakpur. He awakens from his slumber when he discovers it has something to do with his old nemesis Banwari. Amavas puts forth his plan at the village meeting. Madan is nabbed and taken to the police station. Amavas and Bhugol set off on a journey to save Dhadakpur's pride and Roshni's wedding. Only 5 days left for the wedding!
S1 E5 - "Piyo Magar Pyaar Se"
Sarpanch questions Pushpalata about the rumours he's heard . Relatives arrive for the wedding festivities. Roshni begins to have doubts. Durlabh instigates Kuber to verify if the bike has truly been bought. Amavas shares his vulnerable side with Bhugol as they gulp down a few drinks and pass out while the second hand bike stands ready to be collected. Only 4 days left for the wedding!
S1 E6 - "Ullu Mat Bolna"
Bhugol and Amavas have to perform at a special birthday party to pay for the bike. Roshni confronts Kuber. Madan finally gets his dream job but is in a moral dilemma. Frustrated Banwari reaches the cop station. Pushpalata announces a strict punishment at the village meeting. Teepu helps Nirmal with the cash for her treatment. Only 3 days left for the wedding!
S1 E7 - "Ulta Chor Kotwal Ko Dante"
Mithlesh sets out to find the thief with renewed vigor. Amavas and Bhugol escape from Parmanu's clutches. Amavas is not impressed with Kuber. Pushpalata considers resigning. Mithlesh's investigation leads him to a suspect but just then Teepu reveals important evidence. Roshni's dilemma builds. Only 2 day left for the wedding!
S1 E8 - "Bhootpurv Premi"
Nirmal is at the cusp of getting her treatment. Banwari struggles with the wedding arrangements because of the boycott. A crucial eye witness confesses to Mithlesh. Amavas confronts Bhugol about Kuber. An action packed scuffle threatens the arrival of the bike. The wedding party is on the way. Few hours before the wedding!
S1 E9 - "Atmanirbhar'
The day of reckoning. Nirmal speaks to Pushpalata about the boycott. Kuber arrives with the wedding party at the Jha household but there is no sign of the bike. The wedding is in jeopardy! Mithlesh nabs the thief- but there is a bigger mastermind at play. Dhadakpur learns an important lesson that has a lasting impact. Bhugol manages to finally fulfill his dream!

Reception
Shubhra Gupta of The Indian Express rated 3/5 stars and writes in her review that "Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane's ruralcom delivers clean, socially-relevant family entertainment. The show has a determinedly cheerful air, leaving the viewer smiling is clearly the mandate."[4] Deepa Gahlot of Rediff.com gave it 3.5 stars out of 5 and said that "Such a collection of amiable characters were last seen in Panchayat. There are greedy dowry seekers, criminals, misogynists and the like, but the collective goodness of the others keep violence and male chauvinism in check."[5]
Hardika Gupta of NDTV awarded the series 2.5/5 stars and said "At times, the humour can feel too forced, especially when the plot takes detours into slapstick and quirky situations."[6] Devesh Sharma of Filmfare gave 3.5 stars out of 5 and said that "Dupahiya is a comedy revolving around the problems of the common man. It’s buoyed by good performance by the entire ensemble cast."[7] Abhimanyu Mathur of Hindustan Times writes in his review that "Flawless performances complement impeccable writing in this social satire that hits all the right notes."[8]
Rahul Desai of The Hollywood Reporter India opined, "The nine-episode series has its moments, but stays too derivative to make an impact."[9] Shilajit Mitra of The Hindu "said that Built around a stolen motorcycle in a village, this is a sweet, soporific series that passes the time, with a winsome performance by Gajraj Rao.[10] Vinamra Mathur of Firstpost writes in his review that "It’s not easy to write down what all happens in the show. It’s one mayhem after another ala any Priyadarshan movie of the early 2000s".[11] Arushi Jain of India Today gave 3 stars out of 5 and writes that "This Prime Video series is a charming small-town comedy with endearing performances, witty dialogues, and social themes. While it drags at times, its humour and heart make it a delightful, easy watch."[12] Archika Khurana of The Times of India gave 4 stars out of 5 and said that "With its breezy tone, well-paced progression, and a mix of hilarious one-liners and touching emotional beats, Dupahiya is an endearing and well-crafted watch."[13]
