Tomer Biran (Hebrew: תומר בירן; born July 10, 1976) is an award-winning Israeli Record producer, composer, and arranger. He is best known for his musical productions, compositions, and arrangements for global brands such as BMW, Huawei, Coca-Cola, Samsung, Lenor, and Mercedes Benz
Biran is also producing for Israeli artists[1] such as Hanan Ben Ari [2] Additionally, Biran produced Ben Ari’s 2025 single "Hayom Kamati Sameach."[3], Amir Dadon [4], Rita [5], Shiri Maimon *[6] and more. He's trusted by global artists[7] Snoop Dogg, Luis Fonsi [8] and Nicole Scherzinger, Coi Leray [9], Saucy Santana and Latto [10].
Early life
Tomer Biran began playing the keyboards when he received an Electric piano as a gift from his relative at an early age. Right after, he learned to read and write music notes with a private teacher.
In his teenage, Biran studied and lived in a Boarding School of Arts at Mitzpe Ramon, where he expanded his studies in the music major.
Career
Tomer’s break into film composing was the 2002 American slasher film Halloween: Resurrection.[11] From there he has provided additional music and arrangements on films and TV series such as Lord of War (Lionsgate Films),[12] Click (Columbia Pictures),[13] RV, Man in the Chair (Outsider Pictures),[14] Sex and the City (HBO),[15] and The Sopranos.[16]
Biran has composed and produced music for hundreds of promotional films and commercial campaigns, including trailers for the highest-grossing film of 2010 Toy Story 3 (Pixar by Walt Disney Studios)[17] and promotional campaign music for worldwide brands such as P&G, CocaCola, Mercedes-Benz, Lenor, Xiaomi, BMW, Carrefour, Sprite, Subaru, SodaStream, Alibaba Group, Huawei, Skyworth, Oppo, Huggies, Samsung, and many more.[18]
Tomer has also collaborated with global advertising agencies, including McCann, Grey,[19] BBDO, DDB, TBWA, Saatchi & Saatchi,[20] Ogilvy, and Publicis.
In 2019, at the initiative of Galgalatz, the song A Tribe of Brothers & Sisters[21] (Shevet Achim ve Achayot) was produced. The lyrics were written by Doron Medalie, and the music was composed by Idan Raichel. Biran was responsible for the arrangement and musical production.
The song was released in April 2019 during the Passover holiday, with the declared goal of promoting unity and bridging societal divides in Israel. A total of 34 major Israeli singers participated in the recording, and all proceeds from the song were donated to the Sachi program (סח"י) – a unique charity initiative dedicated to empowering at-risk youth.
Biran is the sample producer behind the replay of 1970 hit "Are You My Woman? (Tell Me So)" by The Chi-Lites that played on Saucy Santana's song Booty[22] featuring Latto.
In May 2023 a new sample replay produced by Biran was the 60's hit It's My Party by Lesley Gore sampled in the song My Body[23] by the American rapper and singer Coi Leray.
Eurovision Song Contest 2025
In 2025, Biran was involved in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 as the arranger and music producer for Israel’s entry, New Day Will Rise, performed by Yuval Raphael. The song was written and composed by Keren Peles, while Biran was responsible for its arrangement and production.[24]
Reports from Israel Hayom confirmed that Biran played a key role in shaping the sound of the entry, refining the orchestration and production elements.[25] Eurovision news site Eurovoix also highlighted Biran’s role, stating that he was the lead producer and arranger of the track.[26]
This marks Biran’s latest involvement in the Eurovision Song Contest, following his previous work with Boaz Mauda in the 2008 edition. Biran co-composed the song Time to Pray, performed by Mauda alongside Sirusho (Armenia 2008) and Jelena Tomašević (Serbia 2008), which was presented as an interval act at Beovizija 2009.[27].
