Samantha Lux (born 1998) is an American internet influencer. A transgender woman, she is a trans-rights activist and has over 600,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel, as well as almost 150,000 ones on TikTok and 90,000 on Instagram.[1] Her channels have gotten more than 60 million views.[2]

Early life

Lux was born in a small Massachusetts city. She transitioned at the age of 18.[1]

As a young child, Lux would come home from school and binge-watch You Tube videos, which made her a fan of the site.[3]

She graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, with a degree in Communication and political sciences.[2]

GLAAD

In 2022, Lux joined GLAAD's board of directors.[2] On 14 March, 2024, Lux attended the 35th GLAAD Media Awards, wearing a message that read "Fight for trans kids" on her back.[4]

Lux has a You Tube channel, named after herself.

She and Matt walsh have been involved in a heated internet debate.[5]

Personal life

Lux, born Sam,[6] is the third child of LGBT advocate and human rsources professional Irene Brank. From her mother's side, Lux is of Chinese and Swiss descendance.[7]

She has a dog named Birdie.[8]
