Harder Day Coffee Company is a small chain of coffee shops in the Portland metropolitan area, in the U.S. state of Oregon. Co-owners Dustin Harder and Brody Day opened the original shop in southeast Portland's Woodstock neighborhood in 2024. Locations were subsequently opened in Beaverton and at the Steeplejack Brewing Company restaurant on Hawthorne Boulevard in southeast Portland's Sunnyside neighborhood.

History

The company was founded by Dustin Harder and Brody Day. The first shop opened in southeast Portland's Woodstock neighborhood on March 14, 2024,[1] in the space that previously housed the coffee business Esperanza Trading Company.[2][3] A second shop opened in Beaverton. In August 2024, Harder Day acquired Water Avenue Coffee from SoHi Brands.[4][5][6]

Harder Day also operates at the Steeplejack Brewing Company location on Hawthorne Boulevard in southeast Portland's Sunnyside neighborhood.[7][8] The location opened on February 15, 2025.[9]
