Ahmed Kapadia

Ahmed Kapadia is a prominent Pakistani advertising executive, media entrepreneur, and philanthropist.[1] He is the founder and chairman of Synergy Group, has worked with major international brands such as Coca-Cola, Unilever, and Nestlé,.[2] helping shape the advertising landscape in Pakistan.

He currently also serves as the Chairman of the Pakistan Advertising Association.[2][3] Kapadia is recognized as a key figure in the marketing sector and has played a vital role in elevating the advertising standards in Pakistan.[4][5]

In addition to his business ventures, Kapadia is also the chairman of Latif Kapadia Memorial Welfare Trust (LKMWT), an organization he founded in 2007.[6] LKMWT focuses on providing free healthcare and disaster relief services to underserved communities across Pakistan.

Kapadia's work has been widely recognized in the media,[7] with appearances on national television programs such as Kamyaab (CNBC Pakistan) and Ronaq-e-Ramzan (Dawn News), where he has shared his insights on the advertising industry and social responsibility.[1][8]

Professional Career

Ahmed Kapadia began his career in 1989 as a client management executive at MNJ Advertising before co-founding Awan & Kapadia. From 1992 to 1995, he worked at Lakson Tobacco Company, where he organized promotional events, including Pakistan's first IBSF World Snooker Championship[9][1]. In 1995, he joined Orient McCann Erickson as Executive Director of Business Development, contributing to Coca-Cola Pakistan’s repositioning and the Jazba-e-Junoon campaign[10].

In 1999, Kapadia founded Synergy Group, an integrated marketing communications firm with subsidiaries specializing in advertising, public relations, digital media, and media planning[1].

In addition to his work in advertising, Kapadia is the author of Executive Doodle,[11] a book compiling insights and industry experiences originally published in Synergyzer over two decades.[12][13][14][15]

Awards and Recognition

In 2024, he was named Pakistan’s Dragon Master at the Dragons of Pakistan Awards[16]

Philanthropy

In 2007, Kapadia founded the Latif Kapadia Memorial Welfare Trust (LKMWT) in memory of his father[17]. The trust focuses on providing free healthcare services, conducting disaster relief drives, and supporting underprivileged communities [18][6]
