Dhadak 2 (‹See RfD› transl. Heartbeat 2) is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film written and directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Dharma Productions, Zee Studios and Cloud 9 Pictures.[1][2][3] A spiritual sequel to Dhadak (2018) and a remake of the Tamil film[4] Pariyerum Perumal (2018), it stars Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi.[5][6][7]

Cast

Production

Dhadak 2 began pre-production in April 2023, with Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi leading the cast under the production of Karan Johar. The film's official announcement was made on 18 April 2025, introducing the characters of Dimri and Chaturvedi in a musical teaser.[8][9] Principal photography happened on 2 February 2025.[citation needed]


Music

The music of the film is composed by Shreyas Puranik while the lyrics are written by Siddharth–Garima.[10]

Release

The film was set to release date in theaters on 18 April 2025 but has been pushed to a yet announced new date.[11]
