Borek (Czech pronunciation: [ˈborɛk]) is a municipality and village in Havlíčkův Brod District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 100 inhabitants.
Borek lies approximately 21 kilometres (13 mi) north of Havlíčkův Brod, 45 km (28 mi) north of Jihlava, and 90 km (56 mi) east of Prague.

The first written mention of Borek is from 1557. Ostružno was first mentioned in 1397.[3]
