Ammonium tetrathioarsenate is a chemical compound with the chemical formula (NH4)3AsS4.[1][2]

Synthesis

Reaction of arsenic trisulfide with yellow ammonium sulphide:[3]

As2S3 + 3(NH4)2S + 2S → 2(NH4)3AsS4

Physical properties

Ammonium tetrathioarsenate forms cololess crystals of orthorhombic system, spatial group Pcmn.[4]
