Al-Jazira Football Club [1] (Arabic: نادي الجزيرة لكرة القدم) is a professional football club based in Kuwait, the club competes in the Kuwaiti Division One from 2025–26. It is the first sports team in the country that is privately owned with no governmental control over the club.

History

Founding season

On 20 December 2024, during an interview with KFA President Ahmed Al-Yousef Al-Sabah, stated new clubs are stated to join Kuwaiti Division One with a new club yet to be established named Al-Jazeera.[2] following weeks trails and signings started in Early February with head coach being Ibrahim Obaid and Goalkeeper Bader Al-Sanoun. With their Debut Match against Al-Jahra in 2024–25 Kuwait Crown Prince Cup. On March 17th the clubs debut match in a friendly vs Al-Shabab winning 1-0.

Crest and colors

The original start up crest was unveiled on 19 February 2025, showed the teams beige and brown colors[3] which got major negative impact across all social media platforms and sports shows.
