The 2025 CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT) is a postseason single-elimination tournament of NCAA Division I basketball teams. The CIT plans to employ a sixteen-team pod-based format for the 2024–25 postseason.[1]
Each four-team pod will be contested as a Classic, hosted at on-campus sites by its highest seed. Each Classic will be named in honor of a legendary college basketball coach (Hugh Durham, Lou Henson, John McLendon, Jim Phelan). Each Classic will name its own most valuable player, award a trophy to the victorious team, and that team will continue on into the semifinal round. The semifinal and final rounds will also be hosted in an on-campus venue by the highest remaining seed.[1]
Norfolk State was the 2024 champion.[2]
