I also used to find Category:All articles needing copy edit—a page that shows all articles tagged as needing copy editing done—invaluable for finding articles to fix. If you are now like I was when I first joined and greatly desire the ability to find articles to copy edit so that you may copy edit them, I suggest that you go here.
