Development

Ai-Ai delas Alas and Lani Misalucha confirmed they will return to judge the sixth season alongside Christian Bautista after returning to the Philippines from America, after an interview with delas Alas to GMA Integrated News on May 30, 2024.[2][3]

Neocolours drummer Niño Regalado is hired to become a musical director for this season, replacing Marc Lopez, who served as the musical director in seasons 2-5 has focused on working for The Voice Kids season 6.

Online auditions

The show opens online auditions on March 16, 2024, for singers aged 16 and above.[4]

Top 24

The complete line-up of contestants for the sixth season was revealed on August 31, 2024, with the final roster consisting of 24 participants.[5] Kyle Ralvin who previously competed in the third season (as Kyle Pasajol) was eliminated in the third round before making it to the finals.

In the first round of the sixth season, the randomizer electronically selected six Clashers from the 24 to form the Circle of Clash. From this group, one Clasher was selected to choose their opponent and advance in the next round.

Round 1: One on One

The new format for the first round of the sixth season introduces the "Circle of Clash," where the randomizer will electronically select six clashers, instead of two, from the Top 24 in The Clash Arena. The first Clasher will be randomly chosen and select an opponent from the group to compete against, with the winner advancing to the Top 12 based on the majority of the judges' votes.

Round 2: Pares Kontra Pares

Following the Top 12 selection, the second round involved duet pairings. The Circle of Clash randomly selected six clashers, who then chose their duet partners from the remaining Top 12. The selection process alternated between the Circle members and their chosen partners. Below are the resulting pairings. Bolded names indicate Circle selections, and italicized names are electronically selected partners.

In this round, the initially selected duet performs first. Other duos can then challenge them. The Clash Panel votes to advance one pair. The losing pair faces each other in the 'Matira ang Matibay' round, where the Panel again decides who continues.

This process alternated, with each selected Clasher completing their trio. The final remaining Clasher could then swap places with one of the first two members of any group. Group selections are listed below: italicized names are randomly selected, and underlined names are chosen by the group leader.

1Angel D. declined the advantage and joined Bogabil's group.

The randomizer chooses the first group to perform. The Clash Panel then selects two groups to advance. The losing group competes in the 'Matira ang Matibay' round, where the Panel chooses two individuals to continue.
