This article needs revision, I want more history of the big box store as a late 20th century development, not just restating the definition over and over again 2603:7000:A703:C99C:7908:38EF:8D07:9749 (talk) 13:21, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

“big box” is usually used as a pejorative name. I recommend revising the article using more neutral language, perhaps referring to the category as large format retail if that is widely recognised. Adondai (talk) 23:47, 20 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
