Are we into something called Edit War here?

Between 14-Mar-2008 and 16-Mar-2008 (in 3 days) there have been a few "do's" and "undo's" of a specific statement on this page. It started when three days back I had added the following fact along with supporting references to this article.

Ashutosh himself has claimed in his audition application [2] and interview for MTV Roadies [3] that he has beaten up a cop and there is no evidence that he was ever punished for his crime.

I have not created this fact from my imagination and to support that I have also provided valid references (links [2] and [3] above).

Due to several repetitive attempts to destroy this fact in last three days by anonymous user(s) (from IP 59.184.243.66, 59.184.247.28, and 59.92.47.149) I have patiently re-added the fact, asking those editors for reasons for their deletions (or vandalism whatever is appropriate), but they have not given a single reason. Apparently, they simply delete the fact on their whim without bothering about reasons etc.

I would request these editors to kindly explain their points of view on this talk page before attempting to delete what has been added with proper citations.
