Mitcheltree Township is one of six townships in Martin County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 571 and it contained 313 housing units.[2]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 71.39 square miles (184.9 km2), of which 70.76 square miles (183.3 km2) (or 99.12%) is land and 0.63 square miles (1.6 km2) (or 0.88%) is water.[4]
