Description Building at the summit of the cascade, Chatsworth. The Cascade House is one of the few features of the original 'London & Wise' garden that survives today. Most of their work at Chatsworth (based on Versailles) was swept away in the C18 by Capability Brown. Reference books assert "George London and Henry Wise were two of the most important English landscape designers of their time. They worked together from 1688 to 1714, designing in an English version of the Baroque style".
