Lollingite is iron arsenide and rich specimens, such as this, are uncommon from the Franklin District. A rich and large, 3-4 mm thick crust or vein of lollinginte covers the cabinet matrix on this very highly representative example of the species and famed locale. Very likely an older specimen. Ex. Robert Whitmore Collection.
