English: Shoalwater Bay, Australia (June 26, 2005) -- A Soldier from the Third Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR) conducts a patrol during exercise Talisman Saber 2005. Talisman Saber is a four-week biennial exercise to conduct collective training and practice inter-operability between U.S. and Australian forces while further developing the capability to undertake joint, combined operations and helping to build regional security. More than 17,000 personnel from Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine and Special Forces units are participating in the exercise, a merger of the Tandem Thrust and Crocodile series of exercises.
