English: Diesel locomotive 5941 from belgian heritage railway association "Patrimoine Ferroviaire et Touristique" (PFT), as seen at the Saint Ghislain loc yard of the association, during on open door event. This locomotive series, build 1955 by Cockerill under licence of US company Baldwin-Westinghouse was retired in 2002, bought by PFT. After 2 years of deep restoration, it's fully operationnal since 2004.
Français : La locomotive diesel 5941 de l'association de préservation belge "Patrimoine Ferroviaire et Touristique" (PFT) vue à l'espace-train de Saint Ghislain, l'un des dépôts de l'association lors d'une journée ouverte au public. Cette machine, construite en 1955 par Cockerill sous licence Baldwin-Westinghouse et retirée du service commercial en 1993. Réutilisée sur différents chantiers de lignes à grande vitesses, elle sera finalement mise en vente en 2002 et acquise par le PFT. Après deux ans de restauration, la locomotive est certifiée pour pouvoir accéder aux voies ferrées belges depuis 2004. |
