The 2026 Wyoming gubernatorial election is scheduled to take place on November 3, 2026, to elect the next governor of Wyoming. Incumbent Republican Governor Mark Gordon is term-limited and ineligible to seek a third consecutive term in 2026. However, he has not ruled out the possibility of challenging Wyoming's term-limits law in court. The Wyoming Supreme Court previously ruled that the law was unconstitutional for elections to the Wyoming State Legislature.[1]
