The Übermensch World Tour is the fourth concert tour by South Korean rapper and singer-songwriter G-Dragon, held in support of his third studio album Übermensch (2025). It marks his first concert tour in eight years since the Act III: M.O.T.T.E World Tour (2017). The Übermensch World Tour began at the Goyang Stadium in South Korea on March 29, 2025.
Background
On February 6, 2025, G-Dragon's self-founded entertainment agency Galaxy Corporation announced that G-Dragon would hold a world tour in support of his then-upcoming studio album Übermensch, set for release on February 25.[1] A week later, it was revealed that the tour would begin at the Goyang Stadium in Goyang, South Korea on March 29 and 30.[2] On March 19, fourteen dates were unveiled in East and Southeast Asia.
Critical reception
The Korea JoongAng Daily praised the performances in Goyang, writing "His choreography was polished, and his stage presence was magnetic. Even the biting cold that suddenly came over the weekend couldn't dampen the audience’s enthusiasm".[3]
Commercial performance
Galaxy Corporation announced that all 60,000 tickets for the two shows at the Goyang Stadium were sold out immediately upon ticket release.[4][5] Due to the huge demands for the tickets an additional limited view seats went for sale, and it sold-out immediately in 3 minutes.[6]
Philanthropy
G-Dragon donated ₩300 million from the revenue generated by the concerts in South Korea to support the recovery efforts for the 2025 South Korea wildfires in Gyeongsang-do and Ulsan.[7]
