This page (Wikipedia:Special:PrefixIndex) provides documentation for transcluding the pages automatically listed by Special:PrefixIndex. Special:PrefixIndex can be used to produce a list of pages with names beginning with a certain prefix and also produce a list of subpages of a page. {{PrefixIndex}} exists for formatting purposes, such as to split the list into multiple columns or strip the output of the prefix.

If you want to do something wacky like change the width of the columns, use the template {{PrefixIndex}}, which is a simple wrapper for this plus another parameter for column widths. Go try it out!
