Skopje being the capital of Dardania and never being part of Anceint Macedonia
Hello, numerous times I tried to correct the information that Skopje was never part of Ancient Macedonia, when there is a handful of evidence that it was. The best evidence is Hammond's book called A History of Macedonia specifically in Vol II G. T. Griffith on page 656 line 27 writes that the northern frontier of the Kingdom during Phillip's conquests was near Kacanik pass north of Skopje. This includes the area of Skopje which was conquered by Phillip II of Macedon from the Paeonians and as such it became part of the Ancient Macedonian Kingdom. G. T. Griffith was an expert in ancient history who won the Hare prize. Also he walked the area of Macedonia in Greece, Yugoslavia (back then) and Bulgaria while making the book with Hammond. The user Jingiby reverts it back saying that it is fringe theory?! I have no idea how did he came to that conclusion. The only thing that he has as evidence that Skopje was not part of Ancient Macedonia is a Greek historian from Thessaloniki who is not even an expert for ancient history but rather she specializes in modern history. When I tried to give Jingiby resonable evidence he deleted the whole conversation and simply ignored me. That is as unprofessional as it can get and now he threatens me to ban me?! This is blatant abuse of power over information and forceful censorship. 92.53.50.151 (talk) 10:57, 9 February 2025 (UTC)

If there is a relevant discussion, editors use the |talk= parameter. They don't have to justify WP:BETTER and specify the issues. It's not an opportunity to use one's lack of encyclopedic writing knowledge. ภץאคгöร 13:37, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
- I started a discussion on the article's talk page. How do you expect editors to resolve the issues when you are not specifying them? StephenMacky1 (talk) 13:40, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
