Question from Southpaw DS (07:12, 17 February 2025)
I'm not sure about how to add a footnote. For example, I had a message that it is part of a template and I did not see how to edit it. Instead, I added a link in the main article, but I assume a footnote is perferred. --Southpaw DS (talk) 07:12, 17 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hi! It looks like you want to add a source, or citation, to the article Catholic studies?
- If you're using the Visual Editor, where the screen to edit an article looks similar to how it would be published ("what you see is what you get"), then a convenient "Cite" button is available for you to use. Just paste in the link and it should automatically fill in the rest. Hope this helps. LR.127 (talk) 07:54, 17 February 2025 (UTC)
Question from Bradensaltus (02:48, 21 February 2025)
Hello, I just joined to add some links between pages where there weren't. I may expand editing in the future, but that might be all I do for now.
The preferred format I gather is link upon first use in a page, and optional after that. is that correct? --Penninsula (talk) 02:48, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hi! Thanks for making constructive edits. I think you are about right. If an internal link (link between Wikipedia pages) would help aid understanding of the article, then add it.
- There are other style choices as well, like not placing internal links too close to each other. You can find the specific details on linking here: MOS:LINK. Hope this helps. LR.127 (talk) 02:29, 22 February 2025 (UTC)

Please be more careful
I just had two of your short desc edits on my watchlist - both were seriously inaccurate, due to sloppy reading of the article. Johnbod (talk) 04:25, 25 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hi - could you be more specific as to which ones? Cheers. LR.127 (talk) 12:01, 25 February 2025 (UTC)
- Well, you could always look at my contributions just now, but I suppose that's just not how you roll. Both your short descs on Steel engraving and Resection margin were downright wrong. The former are not printed on steel but paper, the latter is not a surgical procedure (that's Resection) but a piece of body tissue taken out. Johnbod (talk) 15:26, 25 February 2025 (UTC)
Question from Sabarisho (12:47, 27 February 2025)
Hello my mentor I would like to add two more languages to the edits I would like to make, apart from English. Is there a way of going back to that page where the qustion on languages was asked? --Sabarisho (talk) 12:47, 27 February 2025 (UTC)
- On this website specifically (the English Wikipedia), we only accept English content to be published here.
- You haven't made any edits on this account, so I am not sure how I can help you. Can you give me more details or context? LR.127 (talk) 12:55, 27 February 2025 (UTC)
