Conson 2021 move

Your argument gave off the impression that "there was a TS last 2016 so TS Conson should be kept the '(2021)' in it". True, it's confusing. True, Conson is named twice on tropical storms. But the one in 2021 did damage, while the 2016 is super duper minor—it barely affected any lands at all. It's a WP:PRIMARYRED issue.

So any thoughts on moving it? Bugnawfang (talk) 09:04, 18 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

!Voting twice in RfD.

Please do not continue to do this. You !voted twice in this already-closed discussion, and did the same thing here, where I requested that you strike one of your !votes or turn it into a comment. Otherwise it is confusing for the closer. Please do so, and avoid accidentally duplicating your !votes in future. Thank-you. Cremastra (u — c) 19:42, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, sorry I wouldn't do it again for the next votes. ✴️IcarusThe Astrologer✴️ 21:50, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Cremastra (u — c) 01:12, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Icarus58 and Cremastra: As far as I can tell, this is the only time that you took part in one discussion under two different names (assuming the IP belongs to you, Icarus58?),[1] but numerous edits were made by both of them. I'm sure that this would have largely been done accidentally, but please be careful to always log in before you edit, and keep WP:SOCK in mind. If you want to keep editing without logging into your main account (I understand there are situations where one might not want to log in for security reasons), maybe create an alternative account, and use Template:User alternative account banner to disclose it? Renerpho (talk) 01:11, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If the IP doesn't belong to you then I apologize. The discussion at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2024 October 20#3.1415926535… just gave off that impression. Renerpho (talk) 01:21, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm very confident the IP is separate. They've been around for a long time, and their writing patterns are different. Cremastra (u — c) 12:34, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay good. Renerpho (talk) 22:38, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your signature

It's obvious that you want your signature to all appear in one line without being broken, but having your signature on a brand new line with a new indent symbol (":" or "*") causes issues with accessibility, specifically with screen readers. And, I see why you have been putting your signature on a new line: The space between the words "The" and "Astrologer" can cause your signature to get split up. However, there's a way around this: replacing the space with a non-breaking space ( ). To show you what I mean, here's the code of your current signature:

<span style="font-family:Georgia"><span style="background:#327EE4; color:#A188FC; padding:2px;">✴️Icarus</span><span style="background:#A188FC; color:#327EE4; padding:2px;">The Astrologer✴️</span> </span>

...And here's how it appears after inserting the non-breaking space between "The" and "Astrologer":

<span style="font-family:Georgia"><span style="background:#327EE4; color:#A188FC; padding:2px;">✴️Icarus</span><span style="background:#A188FC; color:#327EE4; padding:2px;">The&nbsp;Astrologer✴️</span> </span>

...which appears identical as before, but will move the entire signature to the next line if the word "Astrologer" traditionally pushes the text past the end of the line: ✴️IcarusThe Astrologer✴️

Hope that helps! Steel1943 (talk) 18:23, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much for your advice. I'm aware that Gino's behavior edits and being too disruptive which I gave for my warnings but he didn't respond it at the time — so, he declined it instead of giving attention to others. On the contrary, he's trying to revert in a malicious way in television programs in wrongly manual of styles and he's tried to blanking the talk page without the exonerating proof. I'm not related from their harassing attacks and threats in other side especially for trolls. If he's continue to revert in a final moments, then I wrote sincerely for WP:ANI to give an approach or will block indefinitely. With regards, I'm sorry for my patience. ✴️IcarusThe Astrologer✴️ 03:00, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2019 in Philippine television, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Chicago Fire and Face Off. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Hello, I'm CNMall41. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, List of TV5 (Philippine TV network) original programming, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Reverting this. Check the page history as this is not the first time. If you want to introduce unsourced content you should use the talk page per WP:ONUS to explain why and get consensus. CNMall41 (talk) 19:50, 25 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@CNMall41, why you should removed all the archive programs and currently aired programs for TV5 since they are unsourced? I understand your precision thoughts per WP:BURDEN, since the unsourced articles are not supportive, even if they are notable for this archives. Unfortunately, due to your disruptive edits without giving a lack of exonerate evidence with your comment "unsourced" per WP:RS, this page has restored automatically if you assumed the good faith about your recently edits. So, go to the TV5 official website and FB page for the list of programming schedules if they are reliable. Also, take note that inline citations must be verified before you add or remove the lists. By the way, I'm always create the useful redirects from the programming list since they are also support the target of the criteria. ✴️IcarusThe Astrologer✴️ 23:19, 25 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The content is unsourced. Period. Adding a list of programs that are not supported by a Wikipedia or reliable source is effectively treating Wikipdia like TV Guide. The pertinent guideline is WP:ONUS. Should you feel Wikipedia should allow unsourced content and it is appropriate for you to edit war (see the many times this has been reverted), you will need to discussion and get consensus for such on the talk page. Should you revert again without discussion, I will need to report you at WP:ANI for the conduct. --CNMall41 (talk) 00:28, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Shep hello! i was going over a source that was at one point used for the retirements of the 2024 Pacific Typhoon Season and I saw that you had reverted the edit because they were only requests, not actual retirements.

I am here to hopefully properly explain that the wording in the source by the World Meteorological Organization seems to suggest that those are retirements and not requests for retirements, in that source it states "The Committee noted the requests to retire the naes of EWINIAR, YAGI (also by China), Krathon, Trami, Kong-Rey, Toraji, Usagi and Man-Yi... The Committee requested the countries which provided those names to provide replacement names which will be agreed upon at the next annual session of the Typhoon Committee"

This last section here states that the countries need to find replacements for the aforementioned names and thus implies that they have been retired and will be replaced at the next session as is standard protocol and has been for years now, if I have been incorrect in my assumption then I do apologize for writing this to you.

Edit: Looking further on the WMO list of WPAC names, it states the same thing but also lists Jebi as having been requested though I'm unsure if it implies it was retired or simply requested — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.56.172.41 (talk) 06:50, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
