My username comes from the MIDI (/ˈmɪdi/) standard. I'm male, aged in my thirties, and live in the south of England. My pronouns are he/him.

I've been around for 17 years, and have been an administrator for 15. These days, most of what I do here is MOS-based copyediting and editing articles about current events. I use the administrator tools for page protection and occasionally for enforcing the blocking policy or revision deletion.
