To be admitted as freshman applicants need to take the following classes in high school: 4 English units, 4 Math units, 3 Science units, 3 Social science units, 2 foreign language units, and 1 fine art unit.

Home schooled and students who attended non-accredited schools need a 24 on the ACT or an 1160 on the SAT.[10]

Transfer applicants need a college GPA of 2.5 and a minimum of 24 credits.[9] Transfer applicants from Missouri or border state colleges need a college GPA of 2.0 and an associates degree or have finished the 42 general education requirements.[11]

Some transfer applicants need to submit a high school transcript, interview, or standardized test.[9]
