I tend to do minor fixes (e.g., spelling, links, etc.). Note that if I edit a page, it doesn't necessarily mean that I have interest/knowledge in that subject; it often just means that I came across that page and noticed something wrong.
(As of April 2016, I haven't been editing much, but I've still sometimes been reading Wikipedia.)

This user exists. This is not claiming that this user is not a bot, sockpuppet, blocked user, or inactive user, it is just stating that this user EXISTS. He/She/It/They would like to point out that the reader must exist as well.
Of course, those 2/3 of my edits are automatic, and they're not recorded in either of those lists. (The other 1/3, of course, are to actual articles, my user page, etc.) Something to think about...
