Hello! I am currently an undergraduate student in a nanomaterials class, and as part of our coursework, we have been tasked with revising or creating a Wikipedia page on a topic within nanomaterials. Initially, I intended to focus on gradient multilayer nanofilms, however, I soon discovered that there is no umbrella page providing an overview of nanofilms.
In the proposed article, I plan to offer a concise overview of nanofilms and their properties, as well as a brief summary of their economic impact. Following this, synthesis of nanofilms will be discussed in detail, with a particular emphasis on layer-by-layer (LBL) assembly. I will cover five LBL assembly methods—immersive, spin, spray, electromagnetic, and fluidic assembly—and briefly touch upon electrospinning and other assembly methods.
Subsequently, I will outline various applications of nanofilms, focusing on areas such as solar energy, medicine and biotechnology, and food packaging.
Finally, the article will address some of the environmental risks associated with nanofilms.
Thank you. 7777strawberries (talk) 02:37, 26 February 2025 (UTC)
