McBride station is on the Canadian National Railway mainline in McBride, British Columbia. The station is served by Via Rail's Jasper–Prince Rupert train.[2]
History
When originally built by the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway in 1919, the layout of the station was a 1+1⁄2-story wood building with park land on both sides, in keeping with its role as a railway centre and divisional point on the line.[3]
It became a federally Designated Heritage Railway Station in 1991.[4]
